The EFBWW will organise jointly with FIEC a public online discussion on the European Parliament ’s report regarding a European Social Security Number and a European Personal Labour Card entitled: “Towards digital enforcement for the construction industry?”
The goal: to get a better picture of what the challenges are to digitally enforce labour rights and a level playing field for companies in construction and how EU initiatives could help in a cross-border context.
As guests:
• Belgian labour inspector & advisor, Caroline De Sadeleer, to give an insight into the practical challenges;
• MEP Nikolaj Villumsen (LEFT) – rapporteur and MEP Jeroen Lenaers (EPP) - shadow rapporteur to present and discuss the EP report;
• General Secretary of EFBWW, Tom Deleu, and Director General of FIEC, Domenico Campogrande, to present the social partners´ positions.
