CLR started in 1992 as a cooperative network of researchers and trade union officers at European level covering five fields of activities:
- Publishing the quarterly CLR-News
- Workshops and working parties
- Research projects
- Publishing a series of books, CLR studies
- Annual meetings
The objectives of CLR were: to initiate, coordinate and conduct labour research in the construction and wood industries and to develop or support activities that are directly or indirectly connected with its objectives, including educational activities and the publication of research findings.
All studies and newsletters published by the CLR Network between 2000 and 2017 can be found here.
