EFBWW sends its guidelines for the next phase of economic relaunch to Von der Leyen

03/06/2020

The EFBWW sent a letter to the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to express its position, concerns and demands for the upcoming phase of economic relaunch in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, the EFBWW sent its motion and its 26 concrete demands for the coming months which were approved by the Executive Committee.

In the Covid-19 era, it is time to ensure health and safety, but it is also time to think of economic recovery. The demands focus on three main subjects: occupational health and safety, the European Green Deal and posted workers.

The letter was also sent to the European Executive Vice-President responsible for European Green Deal, Frans Timmermans, to Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, and to Commissioner for Internal Market, Thierry Breton.
